What is a UK Visa?
The UK visa is a document that provides authority to non-EEA citizens who are subject to immigration control and require a visa to enter the UK, stay temporarily or live forever in the territory of the UK. If visa has been issued to you, it implies that you are eligible to enter the UK and you have met all the requirements of the particular visa that you have applied for.
When can you apply for a Business visa?
- If you are visiting the UK for any conference, meeting or training.
- If you want to visit the UK to take part in the specific sports-related event.
- If you are an artist or entertainer and want to come to the UK to perform.
- If you want to visit the UK for doing some kind of research accompanying students on a study abroad programme.
- If you want to get funding to start, takeover, join or run business in the UK.
- If you want to take a Professional and Linguistic Assessment Board test or want to sit in the examination.
The documents required for standard application form, proof of means of maintaining the cost of living, bank statement of last six months, proof of accommodation, detailed travel itinerary etc. The requirement of documents differs from country to country.
UK Tier 1 visa:
The UK tier one has category is for high-value migrants which hold the following subcategory:
1. Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent)
Persons internationally recognized in the sciences or arts.
2. Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) or (Graduate Entrepreneur)
Persons who wish to set up, take over or get involved in running a business in the UK.
3. Tier 1 (Investor)
Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent)
The Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa is an alternative immigration route for professionals in their industry and overseas employees to work in the UK. Only nationals of countries outside the EEA can apply for the visa. It is a subcategory for those who have the potential to be recognized as exceptionally talented leaders.
Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) or (Graduate Entrepreneur)
The UK Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa is for those who intend to set up or take over an existing business in the UK. This requires an entrepreneur to be involved actively in their business as company directors or as self-employed. The applicants can apply for the entrepreneur visa if they have access to only £50,000. The funds can also be shared by two people where they can apply as an entrepreneurial team.
The UK Start up Visa is a new category that will replace the Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur visa program
Tier 1 (Investor)
This category is for those who wish to invest capital in the United Kingdom. This is an investment program, designed of high net worth individuals.
